I'm pursuing my PhD in civil engineering at UT Austin. I also teach the SPN 601D class at UT.
I enjoy talking about sports, hobbies, traveling, culture, social justice and politics. I also enjoy playing sports, working out, hanging out with my friends, traveling and talking about cultural differences. I have been able to travel to Canada and 8 states in America, but can't wait to go to Europe, Australia, South America and Asia.Ich als Lehrkraft
I like meeting new students. During my lessons, I feel like I'm listening and learning about other countries and cultures while sharing mine; I don't feel like I'm teaching.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
Our lessons can be:
a) Structured: About grammar or specific topics you'd like to talk about or discuss
b) Casual: We go with the flow, get to know each other and talk about random topics spontaneously.
c) Informal: They're ideal if you wanna learn slang or controversial aspects about Mexico.
or just a mix. Feel free to let me know with your request what you'd like to talk about during our lesson.
I can also suggest to watch youtubers, tv shows or movies in Spanish; read news articles, books or check out specific material (debates, documentaries, magazines, etc.).Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

César is an excellent teacher. It was great to talk with a fellow engineer and to hear a little about his background in language learning. César is extremely intelligent. He provided me with some interesting articles /links and we had a great conversation. He is an outstanding teacher and would perfect for students at any level of proficiency.

Cesar was great at being patient and just talking me through things in Spanish. Myself being a beginner he did a great job working with me at my pace and level. After my first lesson I definitely learned a lot and will continue to book lessons with Cesar. I would highly recommend talking with Cesar as part of your Spanish learning Journey.
