A former legal professional turned CTCSOL certified Chinese teacher, who loves children and combines teaching with hands-on activities. I am also an enthusiast and promoter of traditional Chinese culture. I was born in Hunan Province in south China. During my teenage years, I moved to Beijing the capital city situated in north China. People say China is a vast country. That is very true - the language and culture from the south and the north vary widely, but luckily I have knowledge and experience of both. In my spare time, I love singing, playing Ukulele, traveling, reading, hiking, city walk in Beijing, Chinese ancient poems, swimming and watching movies etc..

I have 3 years experience in international trade and have been practicing as a lawyer in Beijing for over 8 years. Now I have teaching Chinese online for 3 years. So you can improve your pronunciation, listening and reading skills, vocabulary and grammar through conversations on a variety of topics that interests you. I am also a great fan of Chinese traditional culture and history. And I am very professional for beginners. I have good pronunciation and good communication skills in Chinese. I am outgoing and patient. Talk with me in Chinese will be a good practice. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner, I can always help you to solve the problem in learning.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

The classes I can teach include: Legal Chinese, Business Chinese, HSK, YCT, Chinese for children, Conversational Chinese, Chinese for travelers, Chinese culture, etc For children’s classes, I introduce handcrafts and musical instruments in addition to teaching the language. Children tend to develop a deeper interest in the Chinese language when these activities are related to the Chinese traditions, images, and original stories. For business classes, thanks to my previous work experience, I am able to help students communicate based on typical scenarios whilst giving them a comprehensive understanding of the language. After class, I will send you some interesting materials for you to review.
