Hello! My name is Ruthie. I love to read! My favorite author is Jose Saramago. I enjoy riding my bicycle, going for walks in nature, and making drawings of plants, animals, and insects. I have a special interest in biology and the natural world. I also love to travel. I have been to nine different countries, and I hope to go to many more. I love pop culture and social media. My teaching style is based on having friendly conversations with students based on their English language level, and letting them talk about the things they find interesting. I know what it is like to try to learn a new language. I respect the courage and effort of my students when they try something new or make mistakes. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning style and language level. I provide supportive feedback on any mistakes, and I maintain high standards for all my students.
