Hi, I’m Kayoko. I have lived in Europe for many years as a business person first, then later as a mother. I speak English and German (still learning) and this will enable me to offer you easier access and more joy to learn Japanese, especially if you start learning from scratch. With my background of business and mother who helps own children learn Japanese, my perspective as a Japanese teacher would be unique, global and practical. I acquired a post graduate certificate in teaching Japanese as a foreign language in 2024. As a learner of English, German and French, I know the joy to make oneself understood in a target language. I am very passionated to help you feel this joy in Japanese communication. I am open-minded and patient. Please don’t be afraid to make any mistake! My motto is ‘Mistake is your friend’. As lessons offered here is one-to-one, I would be happy to personalize your lesson flexibly so you reach your goal. Please tell me your goal to learn Japanese! 日本語が通（つう）じる喜（よろこ）びを届（とど）けたい！それが私（わたし）の情熱（じょうねつ）です。 Teil mit mir, was dein Ziel ist. Ich helfe dir gern dafür, dass du dein Ziel erreichen kannst!

I am offering the followings; 1. Learning Japanese with ‘Genki’ 2. Reading an article and talking about it 3. Conversation 4. Homework support 5. Writing correction I will share a note on what you learned in the lesson. Some homework will be assigned.
