Hi there! I’m Suzie Kim, and I’m really excited to help you explore the Korean language. I was born and raised in Korea, so I have a deep love for the culture and language that I can’t wait to share with you. Now, I’m living in Sydney, Australia, and enjoying the chance to experience different cultures and perspectives. My lessons are all about keeping things fun, practical, and tailored to what you love. I’m a big believer that the best way to learn a language is by diving into real conversations and everyday situations. From the get-go, we’ll focus on speaking and listening, making sure you’re comfortable using Korean right away.
Whether you’re into K-pop, K-dramas, or just want to chat in everyday Korean, we’ll use drama scripts, song lyrics, and real-world scenarios to keep things interesting. We’ll also have casual conversations in every lesson so you can practice in a laid-back, natural way. Suzie is a fantastic Korean teacher. At this moment we’ve had about ten lessons together, and I can feel my progress and confidence growing in pronunciation, comprehension, and listening.
I’ve tried lessons with several teachers, including on italkie, but I can confidently say that Suzie is definitely the best at what she does.
If you want to improve your speaking skills and understand the structure of the language better, I highly recommend trying lessons with her and sharing your goals. Highly recommended!

My korean has never sounded better. Not only is it fun but its also very engaging. In 10 lessons I was able to expand my knowledge on the language thanks to the wonderful and amazing teachings by Suzie. I truly am thankful I have Suzie for a teacher, its simple and broken down to where even the most beginners can understand and learn! 11 out of 10 teacher. The best teacher I've ever had!!

I really enjoyed my Lesson with Suzie! She is really nice and patient. <3 Her explanations really help, and she makes you feel comfortable, even when you make mistakes. This lesson was really nice and fun, and I can't wait for next time! <3
