Rui

Rui is nice. We went through a couple of phrases, most of which I already knew but if I was starting from the beginning, it probably would've helped. I look forward to the next lesson.

Rui先生との会話楽しかったです。とても話しやすい雰囲気でした。コンビニの例にもいろいろ勉強になりました。

Rui-sensei is very patient. He also gives me the different options on how to say certain phrases, such as which will be more casual, which you will never hear, etc. We are working through the Genki textbook and I like being able to read the dialogue given in the textbook and then Rui-sensei telling me that this or that phrase is super useful and helpful. Makes the textbook seem more real.

Rui-sensei is very understanding and patient. When talking about new grammar points, he asks to make sentences on my own and then guides or correct where needed. This helps a little with my speaking ability.
