Hello, my name is Djordje, and I live in Sabac, a town in the western part of the Republic of Serbia. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. I previously worked as an intern at the National Museum in Sabac for about a year and a half. Also, I've been working for more than three years as an online English tutor. My hobbies are writing poetry and short stories, watching movies, and listening to music. I also like swimming and attending pub quizzes.Ich als Lehrkraft
I have more than three years of experience as an online English tutor. My goal in teaching is to encourage students to learn how to think. As an educated anthropologist, I always wanted people to know more about the world than what is usually expected of them. Cultures and societies in which we live often impose some boundaries and restrictions. However, by comparing experiences from other cultures, we can always see a broader view. Maybe it sounds a little bit ambitious, but my intention is not only to teach my students Serbian but also to teach them to think more freely about themselves and the societies in which they live.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My teaching method consists mostly of conversation. I believe that listening and speaking are the best ways to learn another language. I always insist that, during lessons, students express their opinion in a free way. Also, I'm not the type of teacher who likes to talk all the time or very often. Instead, I prefer to let my students ask me about whatever they don't understand, and I let them speak as much as they want.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

I highly recommend Djordje to anyone interested in learning Serbian! He is an outstanding teacher and a fascinating person to chat with. His patience is remarkable, and his focus on real Serbian conversation is an excellent way to build confidence and expand vocabulary.
