I am student, 3 months away from a masters degree in TESOL. I have also learned French and am currently learning Italian. Learning a language is challenging, and I don't ever want to forget that!
On a personal note, I grew up in Wisconsin. I've been fortunate to visit several countries in Europe, even living for a while in France. I'd like to visit more of the world; South America is on my list for 2025. I love to talk about food and history, and learning about what's going on in my students' corners of the world.
Si vous êtes francophone nous pouvons parler un minimum de français dans nos leçons. :)
Sto imparando l’italiano. Se è necessario, lo possiamo parlare un po'. :)
Ich als Lehrkraft
I understand that your time is valuable. I strive to be professional, helpful, encouraging, and approachable in every lesson.
Most of my experience so far has been working with adults or teenagers who are early intermediate (B1) to advanced (C1+). I have taught in traditional classrooms and online, mostly teaching general English. However, I also have experience teaching interview and test preparation, and with my masters course I have learned a lot about academic writing.
My students have appreciated how I challenged them while keeping the classroom feeling comfortable and welcoming.
