I am Arné Plaisier, teacher that recieved my degree in education. I am passionate about teaching and sports. I speak both English and Afrikaans fluently and have more than four years of teaching experience. I love doing work outside in the garden and also playing rugby at the local club. As a teacher i strive to help learners gain the language confidence they want and need to be able to speak and understand the language they are learning fluently. I understand that there are barriers to learning a new language and that is why I also help my leaners to achieve their hidden language potential. I am strict when it comes to teaching but that is to ensure that the learner understands the work and language. I have a leaner based teaching style where i focus mainly on the learner and their educational needs but also create a calm learning environment where my students can feel at ease and not have to worry about making mistakes. My lessons are informative and interactive. I work with the learner talking, explaining and translating throughout so that there are no hidden bumps in the learning process.
