Namaste! My name is Mihir Kothari welcome to my classroom! I live in the United States and I was born in New York to Indian immigrant parents from the state of Gujarat. I grew up speaking Hindi with my family at home and also my family in India which allowed me to become fluent very easily. I also love movies so watching a lot of Bollywood movies was another way in which I became fluent.
I have informally taught a few of my friends Hindi who are also of Indian heritage but did not get the opportunity to speak Hindi with their family. In my free time I love shooting photos and videos of my life, I also love sports, basketball is my favorite!

As a fluent Hindi speaker and language enthusiast, I understand the challenges of learning a new language—whether it’s reading, writing, or speaking. Having faced and overcome similar hurdles in my own language journey, I bring empathy, patience, and effective techniques to help my students confidently learn and master Hindi. I believe the best way to learn a language is through speaking. Language is a tool for communication, and what better way to master it than by using it in real conversations? That’s why my lessons focus on talking about various topics that interest you. From everyday conversations to discussions about culture, travel, food, or your favorite hobbies, our lessons will make speaking Hindi feel natural and enjoyable.
While reading and writing have their place, I prioritize helping you build confidence in speaking and understanding. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and truly immersing yourself in the language.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
