I am a passionate language learner myself. I have been self-learning Cantonese for about 5 years and lived in Hong Kong during my Computer Science Master's at HKU. Throughout my language learning journey, I have tried and optimized many different learning techniques, which I am glad to share with you!

I believe that having fluent conversations is the most rewarding thing about learning a new language. That's why my lessons focus on conversational fluency and I try to make the students confident in listening comprehension and oral expressions. Every lesson we will talk about a topic that is relevant to the student and identify key phrases. Through those phrases, we will learn new vocabulary and grammar. To further improve reading comprehension, pronunciation and to memorize the new phrases, students will revise at home using appropriate texts containing the key phrases in a different context.
