I’m a Norwegian teacher with a PhD from the University of Surrey, offering lessons to students of all ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. Teaching is my passion—I truly enjoy engaging with students and helping them develop a new skill. Seeing their progress is incredibly rewarding. As a teacher, I strive to motivate my students by highlighting their progress and providing plenty of practical suggestions for improving their Norwegian between lessons. I provide plenty of feedback on your work, but I never simply give you the answer. Instead, I offer hints and guidance to help you discover the correct answer on your own. My goal is to ensure that students develop a strong foundation in the language from day one while also fostering independence and the ability to analyse their own work effectively.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I provide lessons online, a type of teaching which facilitates crucial interactions between students and tutors, enabling instant written and verbal feedback on their work. Unlike in-person meetings, learning online offers a less stressful and more comfortable environment, where verbal and written communication seamlessly intertwine. This approach allows students to naturally assimilate the language.
I dedicate 50% of the lessons time to speaking and listening, and 50% of the time to writing and grammar exercises. I also give homework to students who want more work between lessons.
