ATTENTION! Every weekend (usually on Saturday's evening) I add more available hours for an upcoming week. It might be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 18.00-21.00 Moscow time (one or two of these days).
I am an experienced teacher who used to be a journalist. I like to talk about travelling, languages, movies, series, books and music.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I have been teaching Russian for foreigners online since March, 2016. In the beginning of 2019 I completed a course called "Methods of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language" at M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University. I like to make the process of education creative. I like to discuss different topics, watch movies, play games with my students, and so on. I am sure I have an interesting course for you! I am the best choice for those who want their mistakes to be corrected and explained. At the same time I don’t interrupt my students. I like to write everything down so you can check corrected phrases and new words at any time. I can change the speed of my speech and my pronunciation is clear.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I am a flexible person so I am able to adapt lessons to your needs. I try to encourage my students to talk as much as possible, politely correcting and explaining their mistakes. Please note INFORMAL LESSONS are not planned lessons. It means I don’t prepare anything for these classes. People who should take Informal Lessons are: 1) those who are not sure what course he or she should take. We will decide which course(s) would fit you best on this informal lesson; 2) those of you who know exactly what they want to discuss and are willing to carry on a conversation or have their own plan for a lesson.

Christina is very patient and helpful. She is a good listener and helps me improve and reformulate what I try to express in Russian. We're also able to quickly look up and translate unknown words with an interactive Google Sheet, which also serves as a list of new words and phrases to learn. She's very good at guiding the conversation and giving me an opportunity to practice and find my words and take time to think. She doesn't jump in and offer an immediate correction, which is tempting to do with a grammar heavy language such a Russian. It can take a moment to remember words, find the right cases, the right prepositions, and the right type of verb just to make a short thought, so it's nice to have a patient teacher who acknowledges a student's efforts. Thank you and I look forward to the next lesson.

Christina is such a great teacher! I am a Chinese teacher myself, and I have had several Russian teachers before, I can say that Christina is the best and the most qualified among them. The lessons were very productive, Christina is very patient and she explains everything clearly, I don't feel that I am wasting money or time with her at all. Looking forward to more lessons :D
