Hi, my name is Shan. I am from China and live in Prague currently. I am a very optimistic and cheerful person. I love yoga which brings me so much inner peace and physical health. I'm also very interested in cross-cultural communication, always looking forward to making friends from different countries. Travelling around the whole world is one of my dreams in my life. I am very curious about the world. As the old saying goes 'Never too old to learn', I am always ready for new challenges.

Ich als Lehrkraft

In 2015, I got my Chinese teaching certificate for teaching foreigners in Shanghai. During the past six years, I have taught around 80 foreign students from 30 countries.The students I have taught are from 7 years old to 60+ with different Chinese levels. I have had many experiences in teaching HSK standard courses, Oral Chinese, Chinese characters, and business Chinese. Moreover, I've also taught Chinese students cross-cultural communication in a training school in Shanghai.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I am very patient and passionate about teaching. According to the students’ requirements and goals, I will recommend some useful and interesting books and materials, then I will make an individual learning plan for each student. In my class, we can also play funny games, watch videos about Chinese culture, learn Chinese songs and so on. The courses I offer are as follows: 1. Useful Chinese for Daily Life 2. HSK Standard Courses 3. Chinese Characters 4. Business Chinese 5. Interesting Chinese Culture 6. Chinese Buzzwords 7. Free Conversations

I'm very happy to have Chen Shan as a chinese teacher. she is very professionnal and adapt to my learning pace. I was a beginner and i feel i'm improving after each lesson. I strongly recommand Chen Shan as a teacher!

Shan@珊 is an excellent teacher, and her lesson was challenging, interesting and fun. During the lesson she introduced me to new vocabulary, helped me with proper enunciation of words, and expressed her points of view on many topics.
