I highly recommend! Nelson is a great teacher. I been with him since May 2021 and he has helped me immensely gain confidence in my Spanish skills. I used to be so nervous using Spanish (particularly talking) but Nelson has a disarming and amiable personality; I don't feel stupid or judged when I make mistakes. Also, he is open-minded, flexible and chatty so classes and conversations are never dull. Moreover, he transcribes what is being said in chat so I always have access to new vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures for later. In the words of the man himself “Nos vemos en la clase próxima.”

Not only is Nelson a great teacher but he has the knowledge and patience to help students students of all levels from from the very beginner to advanced. He can teach informal or formal as well as interesting topics depending on what the student prefers

Nelson was a great help in my attempt to translate a text into reasonable Spanish--He was resourceful even though this task was unplanned --he came up with lots of very useful vocabulary and grammar lessons from this text --he is adaptable and versatile and spontaneous, all of which qualities I look for in a teacher--I am so happy!
