Celia

Celia is a great teacher, extremely knowledgeable, attentive and engaged. I particularly appreciate that she takes time to write down all the words and phrases that I struggled with during the lesson. I have taken classes with her for over a year now. I cannot recommend her enough!

Excellent first lesson with Celia. I came with a huge list of grammar questions and she answered them with ease, giving extremely clear explanations for each one. By the end my list was nearly empty. She definitely has a way with words and can explain things very concisely and clearly. Aside from that, she was a pleasure to talk to and was very warm and friendly. She also seems to have a very well thought-out methodology for her classes, which i appreciate. Definitely will continue taking her classes.

In the first lesson I listened, read, and spoke about people's language learning experience. It is a great way to develop the vocabulary I need to use in the classroom so I don't need to resort to English. Celia was very encouraging and challenged me to try and express myself in Spanish even if I don't know the right vocabulary and verb endings. It is difficult but that is the best way to learn!

Celia is a very nice and competent teacher. During the class it is very interactive and I am very encouraged to speak. Sometimes it takes some time for me to think what to say but she is always patient and corrects my mistakes. She is also always aware if I have any difficulties in the homework and explains clearly what I don’t understand. I’m happy to continue learning Spanish with her and hopefully I can speak more fluently soon!
