My name is Luca, I'm 34 yo and I'm from Italy. I have a degree in foreign languages and I love to teach italian! I did it in an informal way during the years, through language exchanges. I'd describe myself as a a committed teacher, empathetic and focused on the learning process the students has to go through. I like to have a laugh with my students, put them at ease and ask them to share information about their culture.
Mi descriverei come un insegnante serio, empatico e concentrato sul processo d'apprendimento che gli studenti hanno deciso di intraprendere. I love to tailor my lessons on students' needs.
With beginners and lower-intermediate students I prefer to focus on grammar, studying on textbooks, doing exercises together and reading fairy tales or short stories and watching short videos. The will to communicate is the key to get into the language, so I like to chat from the very beginning.
The classes my intermediate and upper-intermediate students seem to prefer are conversation ones, during which we talk about different topics. We stop from time to time to focus on grammar and expressions. I usually provide files with theory and exercises, along with videos and articles I may find useful for the students to watch or read.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

There are many good teachers on italki, and then there's Luca. He clearly stands out, and not just in Italian. La migliore conversazione in italiano che abbia mai avuto. Luca è super cordiale, attento, interessato, fa domande, commenta, motiva, apporta correzioni molto importanti, insegna nuove espressioni. Mi è piaciuto così tanto che non vedo l'ora del prossimo incontro.

Luca es un maestro muy atento. Te ayuda mucho y toma su tiempo cuando no entiendo algo o tengo alguna pregunta. Utiliza el español para dar ejemplos de los cambios en verbos y pronunció que ayuda a entender mejor.
