Hello everyone, this is Larissa. I was born and raised in Peru, where I currently live. I'm a Master's in Education and I've been teaching English as a second language for more than 4 years.
I'm a Spanish native speaker and I know how to use the language properly, I worked as a Communications director during college in Peru, where I was in charge of the proper functioning of the Marketing and Publishing Areas, that together make up the Communications Area, I was and responsible for the organization, structure, editing, proofreading and writing of the International Business Club magazine. As for English, I started learning English when I was 12, and came to the US to start college.
Ich als Lehrkraft
Currently, I am working as an English teacher at the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano and I have gained knowledge and experience in teaching, I have learned from observing my coworkers, my coaches, my students and even observing myself. I believe teaching is a process, and it goes beyond imparting theory to students. I believe teaching is an art, where every class and every student is unique. I believe my role as a teacher is to assist my students to develop their own potential and skills, as well as their learning styles. I learned to love each of my classes and each of my students, their successes and failures were mine as well.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
So my plan is to get to know you a little bit, your background and education in the target language, and after that we can start on the subject of your need. What is what you want to achieve? Improve your speaking or grammar? Learn English from the beginning? Get better reading skills? All students are different, and all classes as well, my focus is on the students and help them achieve the goals they have with the target language.
