Hello! My name is Melanie and I am a native English speaker from the UK. I have travelled to various parts of the world and I am currently living in Indonesia
I enjoy learning new languages to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I have learnt Indonesian, British Sign Language and Indonesian Sign Language and I'm "dabbling" in Spanish. My main focus in teaching is to help you improve in confidence and fluency through conversation. A lot of my students have benefited from discussing news articles or videos together and being able to practice expressing their opinions which can feel so difficult when learning a new language!
I have a HR professional background with recruitment experience. Many of my students are finding it useful to prepare for interviews with me and I can help offer some tips on how to nail your interview! (English idiom)
