My name is Ryan. I'm 25 years old and I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For the past few years, I've been working in the Hospitality/ tourism industry in my city. I've always had a curiosity for new languages and cultures and love learning about them when I meet new people and travel. I enjoy language learning, Cooking, Fitness, Home improvement, and many other interests we may have in common. I'm currently trying to learn skills that involve technology and the internet as they shape the world we live in today

As a teacher, I want to make sure that you are comfortable expressing yourself in English. In the past, I've tried an interactive approach incorporating specific vocabulary and expressions that suit whatever we were learning. Consistent correction can be frustrating and may even prevent progress so I want you to speak freely without worrying about making mistakes as I'll keep track of any significant and consistent errors.

I have English learning materials for French and Spanish-speaking students as well as a library of slideshows, vocabulary lists, and useful dialogues. I also want to help you find a method that works best for you since everyone learns differently

My main reason to use italki is to practice my English speaking skills, so I booked a trial lesson with Ryan to see how things would go, and I enjoyed it a lot! We talked about a bunch of things, and it was super nice. I plan on booking new classes in the future.
