Hello. My name is Karl. I am an avid 23 year old language learner from the US. My hobbies include, language learning, Taekwondo, reading, listening to foreign music and travelling. I love foreign languages so much because I believe they build human connections and they are also very enjoyable to learn! The languages that I have studied include: Polish, German, Russian, Greek, Swedish, Japanese and Turkish. (to be continued)

Ich als Lehrkraft

Focus is on intermediate to advanced learners. I do NOT do test preparation. I help my students to find ways in helping them be creative and really enjoy the language. My classes help to improve real life conversations, pronunciation and grammar. I believe even if you are not good now, you can greatly improve with hard work and dedication. I AM SORRY, but if you fail to come to class and do not give proper notice. I will still charge for the lesson. Please give proper notice if you can not make it. Please fill out the form and let me know your language level and goals before booking class, as it helps me to help you :)

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

My teaching style is informal and relaxed. If you are having problems with basic grammar, pronunciation or you would like to build your vocab and learn new idioms, then I may be the teacher for you. I would like to find ways to make the lessons creative and I also would love to hear from my students what I can do to improve our lessons. I do homework assignments upon request. I believe that learning a language is a journey, and should be a really fun one at that! Also, I am also happy to give you a push and tell you that you can do it :D

Actually I didn’t expect too much from my previous tutors but I couldn’t find qualifications that I hoped. Finally, I met Karl and started to learn with him. He is always understanding, helpful and knowledgeable. He corrects my faulty sentences and shows the better options. Moreover he has really natural and clear accent. I feel lucky to have classes with him.
