Teaching is one of my true lifelong passions.
After graduating with honors in English and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Bologna and receiving a CELTA pass A, I have taught for fifteen years to all levels and age groups. I have experienced the public and private school systems in Italy and Mexico, where I taught both language and literature.
I am an enthusiastic person and as a teacher I would describe myself as competent, energetic and fun (at least so they say!). I am also very patient and I try to find the right approach for every student, so they can make the most of our classes and feel satisfied with their progress.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My classes are well-prepared and well-structured, according to the CELTA approach. In my courses I make sure we work on every skill (reading, writing, speaking, listening), and I usually mainly focus on one or two of them during each class. I use a wide range of materials and I try to find the most efficient ones for every student, depending on their learning style.
I can vary my teaching style easily, according to the learner's needs and I am excellent at keeping motivation up, which is vital for quick language learning.Zeugnisse

Michela is a dream teacher; she always knows (from English-speaking perspective) what you are trying to say and helps you bridge from speaking "Italian with English words" to "actual Italian as Italians speak." This is so important for moving from "good enough to make friends Italian" to "culturally fluent Italian." Brava!

Michela is very knowledgeable on finding the exact verbage as well as where idioms would be appropriate for my current project. It's a great experience when discussions are exploratory and respectful.
