I have been teaching ESL for a total of 35 years, and have been a certified ESL teacher for 29 years. My passion for teaching comes from my own love of learning languages. I currently speak five languages, and am looking forward to learning more! My firsthand understanding of the challenges one faces when learning a new language gives me a rare insight into how to address students' needs. One of my specialties is bringing students out of their shells, helping them overcome shyness or fear around making mistakes. Each lesson is customized, because students’ needs and goals can change over time. What I expect from students is their commitment to improve their English, and to keep an open mind and heart. It was really a great lesson - the conversation flowed naturally from one topic to another and time passed far too quickly. I definitely recommend this teacher for conversation lessons.
