Joy

Joy is a great teacher. I have been struggling to learn greek for sometime, but since having Joy, I feel i have improved a lot. i have more confidence in speaking and my understanding of written Greek has improved tremendously. Joy is very patient, encouraging, supportive and there is no pressure, you can go at your own speed. i would highly refer if you are looking to learn Greek.

I had a thoroughly interesting conversation with Joy, giving jer my feedback in Greek on the videos she had invited me to see, and giving details recipes for our favourite recipes. I also learnt useful vocabulary, but not too much!

We had a great lesson talking about our daily diet and Greek gastronomy, and I learnt useful new vocabulary.

Through our conversation about music, I discovered various Greek styles and their characteristics I had not been aware of before. It is so much more interesting to learn through chatting than reading! Joy also corrects my many mistakes in a very supportive way.
