Hi, thanks for visiting my profile! My name is Sue and I'm from Wellington, the capital of beautiful New Zealand.
I've travelled extensively in Central Asia, Nepal, India, and South America, and have recently been learning Spanish. Travelling and music are my main interests, and I sing and play the Contract Bridge. I also have two adult sons. Teaching English is my second career - before that, I worked for 25 years as a lawyer.
Why choose me? My teaching style is warm, encouraging and personalised to the needs of my students at whatever level they are, and as your teacher I will never lose sight of your English learning goals. We will work together to achieve them!

Ich als Lehrkraft
I qualified as an English language teacher after completing an intensive CELTA course in 2019.
Since then, I've taught General English, IELTS and Cambridge C1 Advanced exam preparation in a classroom environment, and have also taught General, Business English and IELTS privately in person and online to students at all levels.
My recent teaching experience was at an English language school in Wellington, teaching the NZ Certificate of English Language (Level 2) to NZ permanent residents at Pre-Int (B1) level.
I design lessons for the needs and goals of the student, and always provide fun and interesting materials including news, movie and book discussion, role plays and games.
