Hello, my name is Anna. I am from Denmark, born and raised, but I currently live in Istanbul, Turkey. I love it here because it’s a big mix of people, languages and cultures.
I have a BA in teaching and education from University of Southern Denmark.
In my spare time I love to cook for my friends, travel, watch movies, read books and go to concerts.Ich als Lehrkraft
Through my training as a teacher, and from hands on teaching, I have experience in teaching various age groups and people from all over the world. I have primarily been teaching at international schools, summer school for expats and as a private tutor.
I have also been doing volunteer work.
I always try to adapt my teaching methods to my students' needs, interests, and language skills.

I usually plan my lessons according to a certain subject, depending on my student's needs and interests. I can help my student to keep up with the curriculum required by his/her school. Depending on the learner's language skills, I will incorporate various written texts in the lesson.

Anna has been wonderful in helping me learn a little bit of Danish before we head to Denmark for vacation. She makes it very fun and easy to learn. I look forward to using the phrases I learned when we go to the cafe or yarn store. Mange tak!

Had my first lesson with Anna and it was exactly what I needed and was hoping for. She met me at the appropriate level immediately and provided me with the perfect combination of conversation and grammar. She also quickly picked up on some interests and focus areas for us, so I'm very looking forward to continuing my learning with her. Highly recommend for Danish learners!

A very pleasant and effective lesson. Anna is great at explaining various words and grammar points. The pace is just right - not too slow and not too fast. The time went by quickly and I learned a lot!
