Hello! My name is Laia, I'm a student from Barcelona, Spain. I love reading, playing the piano and learning languages. I discovered my love for languages a few years ago, when I started learning German at school. I had studied English many years before that, but it wasn't until then that I found a way to make it fun. I started teaching English and Spanish four years ago and I really enjoy doing it. I understand why some people find the learning process boring and frustrating: it's because they always apply the same methods, their approach is academic.

My lessons are focused on conversation. My students can talk to me as they would to a friend, and I will correct them and help them understand their mistakes. I can also help them with grammar, written exercises or essays if they want me to.
When we're finished, I encourage my students to keep going. I like to give them recommendations: TV series or films they can watch, podcasts, books if they like reading, etc.
You shouldn't wait until you reach a certain level, but speak from the beginning. Every time you have a conversation with someone in your target language, you get better at it. Let me be that someone! (:Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
