As one of the most frequent users of iTalki, I have met with approximately 250 teachers. This was my first lesson with Yan. I can tell you that Yan is a natural teacher. She has a very warm and caring presence. She smiles easily and enabled me to feel very relaxed throughout the lessons. Any linguistic corrections were made in a very gentle why that allowed the conversation to flow easily. We covered a lot of subject matter in the first lesson, all in a very naturally. I'm really excited to have a new language partner/teacher who is so fluent, not only in her native language, but obviously very fluent in Chinese. She will really help me to bridge between the two languages, giving me many tips on how I can use my Chinese knowledge to more quickly acquire a high skill level in Japanese. Thanks so much, Yan!
