I have experience working in a classroom with children and adolescents. I have tutored university age students in acquiring internships and adults studying for their US citizenship tests. I studied at a SUNY university in New York City. I have traveled to 23 countries. I am a native English speaker from the United States and specialize in helping students who have had difficulty in building their listening skills. In my experience talking with students they often say the same thing, that it is difficult to remember the exact words they need while engaging in conversation. If you have already taken numerous lessons but have not successfully learned how to hear in English, we will begin with conversation. I will guide the conversation and when milestones are reached I will introduce new concepts and structures in a simple, logical way. If you are a pure beginner or listening is difficult we will use image based lessons to develop a foundation so that you can advance to more complex concepts.
Listening comprehension is very important as it allows you to learn from your environment as you move through the steps with me. As a teacher you can rely on me to guide you through the necessary steps so you can reach the level of English you like.Zeugnisse
