I have been having lessons with Shinne for a year now. Shinnie is patient, respectful and passionate about his students learning. When I thought I wasn’t progressing he showed me how much I have learned and helped restore my confidence. Shinnie has taught me how to study successfully again using his proven methods and my self-confidence has grown. I know Shinnnie teaches people with ADHD, stuttering, mental illnesses, and disabilities as I have some of these conditions. However, he has never discriminated against me and has been truly dedicated to my Korean learning. I have tried learning with other Korean teachers who have given me false compliments which I did not find productive. Shinnie has helpfully pointed out attitudes or habits that have hindered my progress and he is always honest about my skills and goals. You can trust him and just follow his guidance—without overthinking or false delusions. Shinnie is an excellent, top rate teacher. If I can do it, you can too.

It was an interesting and fun class today! I learned some new Korean phrases and we looked them up on social media to see how they are being used and how to properly pronounce the words. There are so many fun ways to learn!

I’ve finished my 2nd lesson, 시니씨 has stood true to his method of intuitive and productive learning. I’m already able to talk a bit freely as a beginner and have learned so much grammar and new vocabulary already (including the ones other teachers don’t always talk about). The corrections he makes to my picked-up bad habits or misunderstandings have also helped progress my learning and were new points of learning themselves. He also personalizes the lessons and vocabulary/grammar to your life, so the material given is especially relevant on top of the taught essential points.
