I'm John, a native English speaker from the United States. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Spanish literature. I have been learning languages for a long time. I've studied Spanish, Japanese, French, Korean, Mongolian and Vietnamese but I am best at Korean and Spanish. I also enjoy reading about linguistics in my spare time. My hobbies are watching movies (especially Korean and Chinese films), listening to music, spending time outdoors and hanging out with my friends.Ich als Lehrkraft
I taught English to middle school students in South Korea for a year, then I moved to Vietnam where I taught English to Korean adults. I also volunteer at my local community college where I tutor English conversation.

In my class I will first assess your level, find out what you want to improve, and then work from there. My kids took a lesson for 30 minutes each today. It was the first lesson for them. They just loved it. I listened to the conversation over the door for a moment. Teacher John just caught their attention right away. My kids usually are shy at first, but they talked a lot to John.
He spoke slowly and clearly to my kids. I think he is a great teacher.

첫 수업이라서 무지 떨렸는데 제 영어 수준에 맞게 잘 지도해 주시고, 편안한 분위기 조성해 주셨어요. 재미없는 개그 던져도 잘 웃어주시고 친절합니다. 한국에 대한 기본 배경지식이 있어서 한국에 대해 얘기해도 공감 잘해주시고, 재미있게 수업받았어요. 다음에도 수업 듣는다면 또 들을 거 같아요. 😆😆😆

My daughter really enjoyed the lesson today as usual! And these days I’m also taking the lesson in the morning. I feel comfortable speaking to him. I like it when he corrects me through the messenger. :)
