Hello there, welcome to my profile! My name is Alexandra, and I am passionate about learning and teaching languages! I was born in Russia, grew up in Bulgaria, and I’ve lived for several years in my second home Indonesia. I love the mountains, the cold weather, and good coffee. As a teacher, I believe that the best way to learn a new language is through socializing and lots of communication practice. I aim to make you feel comfortable speaking and gain practical language skills that will help you in real-life situations. During the years I've taught students from different ages, both online and offline, and I've proved to myself that we learn best when we feel involved, and we have fun. In our first class we will discuss your language goals, and the lessons after that will be personalized, depending on your needs. If you are a beginner, I will introduce you to the basics, and if you want to practice speaking, we can talk about different topics, depending on your level and interests. In case there is something particular you need to focus on, just let me know, and I will prepare some suitable exercises. Alex is a very friendly and helpful teacher. She has a professional but relaxed approach to classes. I've been having classes with her from the beginning of my Bulgarian language learning journey. She has always been happy to explain things and I don't think I would have been able to continue so far if it wasn't for positive energy in class. It's great to be able to read texts now and to have the feeling that I'm grasping the basics. We've done different tenses and various topics. In summary, I can say that if you're considering learning Bulgarian, Alex is the teacher to have :-)
