Yeison Quevedo

Fantastic lesson 👍🏼 mainly on the dreaded subjunctive 🙀 but Yeison is easily able to explain the more difficult (and the easy!) concepts without fuss in an intelligent person-specific way to help me learn and understand. He is a brilliant teacher 👏🏼. (He lo escribí en inglés para confirmar a otras estudiantes ingleses que el es el mejor profesor en italki 😄)

I've been working with Yeison for about half a year now, and I really enjoy our classes. His style is casual and laidback, he knows a lot about a lot of things, and it seems like we never run out of things to talk about, just out of time! I definitely plan on continuing taking clases with him, and I recommend you do too!

When I started my lessons with Yeison we did some reading exercises and I felt like a little child struggling to read out loud with some material I was already very familiar with, now after many lessons we speak fluently and with each of my trips to Spanish speaking countries I have had zero issues communicating and understanding nearly 100 percent. Highly recommended.

My trial with Yeison was awesome! We got right into important topics from the start of the session and he provided feedback immediately. We discussed my goals and how future lessons would be structured based on my interests and needs. He's very good with offering corrections and guidance about phrases or terms that sound more natural in Spanish. I also enjoyed that we shared a lot of the same interests/hobbies. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Yeison is very thorough in his explanations, helps to correct any mistakes I make in my speech, and is very friendly during all of it. Today we went through a few verb tenses, then we made a detour to go through a song I was interested in and he recommended more songs of the same genre, and then we read through an article.
