such a fun lesson! really enjoying the variety of topics we've been discussing. as always, marlene is extremely kind and patient, and does an excellent job of explaining meanings and grammar.

I feel so lucky that I picked Marlene for my first italki experience. She explains things well, and I always feel comfortable asking for clarification for anything I’m not clear on. And she continues to be patient with me getting used to the technology we use for remote lessons. Grazie, Marlene, for another great lesson. 😊

Marlene is such a lovely person. We laugh a lot during the lesson and time flies. We continued with household activities, prepositions and articles. I learned a lot, but never had the impression to "be at school", but rather to sit with a friend in a café. Thank you for this focused but relaxed learning style.

Las lecciones con Marlene son muy productivas, porque hacemos práctica de conversación y después revisamos los textos que yo escribo. Todo el tiempo me corrige de la mejor forma y me ayuda a usar mejor las expresiones en Italiano. Platicamos con mucha confianza y en un ambiente muy relajado como dos amigos. Me motiva mucho saber que cuento con su ayuda para seguir aprendiendo el Italiano.

First lesson with Marlene was great getting to know each other asking what my goals were. She is very patient with my mistakes and I’m looking forward to more lesson with her. Grazie Marlene.

Marlene is a great teacher. I ticked "no to provide a plan for next lesson" as our lesson is spontaneous, like chatting with a friend. we talk about subjects that just come up spontaneously. I highly recommend Marlene as your italian language teacher
