Hi! 👋 I’m a Canadian-Italian citizen with a strong background in business and finance. I've lived in Italy, Mexico, Hungary, Monaco, Spain (where I had an apartment for 10 years) and Antigua recently. 🌎
I’ve worked as a commodities trader for the past 24 years and since 2017, I’ve also been teaching French and Québécois to learners of all levels, in person and online. ✅
Regardless of your current proficiency, I can help you improve your French skills. I provide explanations in French or English to suit your needs. My English proficiency was certified at a C2 level after taking the Oxford Online Placement Test. 😊
I do NOT teach French to teenagers or kids (17 years old and younger).

En anglais: Francois is an exceptional, superlative instructor who enjoys generously sharing his love and knowledge of the French language. He is incredibly patient, insightful, motivating, flexible, has a wonderful sense of humor, and intuitively understands and anticipates what the student needs to progress and improve. One of his many excellent methodologies is to empower the student to 'find another word' when a 'bloguer' (block) occurs so that learning, (although challenging) takes place in a comfortable and engaging manner. His group lessons are an extraordinary mix of fun, delightful cognitive exercises, interesting memorization techniques, and tons of sharing and learning French.
