Update: I don't teach russian language anymore after 24.02.2022.
Hello! My name is Tymur, but you can call me just Tim, and I'm a native Ukrainian and Mingrelian speaker from Lviv, Ukraine. Language learning is my passion, and I'm excited about this opportunity to help you learn my native languages! Currently, I’m studying computer science at university. I enjoy traveling around the world, reading books, playing chess, and also I do numismatics. Since I was born in Ukraine, I know fluently Ukrainian language. Also, my family is actually Mingrelian and I lived for one year in Georgia, so I am fluent in Mingrelian as well. Treat me not as a teacher, but as а friend. Because I am your friend.
Ich als Lehrkraft
Actually I am not a professional teacher, but I will try my best to make you more fluent in Ukrainian or Mingrelian. Mainly I am focused on three topics: speaking fluently, improving grammar and communicating quickly.
Звісно, я не професійний вчитель, але можу тебе запевнити, що маю відмінні знання із української. Моя форма викладання досить цікава, але разом із тим неабияк дієва, тому будь певен, ти зможеш вивчити мови зі мною досконало.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I adore spending some time getting to know my students and their level better. In my classes, you can expect lots of conversational practice and improving grammar. Every my lesson is for my students and their needs.

Before my first lesson, I knew no Megrelian at all, but I was eager to learn. One of the biggest challenges I faced was the lack of available learning materials for this language. Thankfully, Tim provided a lot of resources and took a well organized, structured approach to teaching. What sets Tim apart is his flexibility he creates custom learning materials, including texts and audio, tailored to my needs. After just three weeks, I can already say basic phrases in Megrelian, which feels like a huge accomplishment. I highly recommend Tim to anyone serious about learning Megrelian, and I plan to continue my lessons with him until I achieve fluency!

Great lesson as always! In the time I've spent learning Ukrainian with Tim, I've advanced so much - this marks roughly 4 months of lessons and now we are having conversations almost completely in Ukrainian. Tim is a fantastic teacher who is passionate about his language, and will help inspire anyone to learn Ukrainian 😊

Tim has been very helpful and thorough with his teaching. Thanks to Tim I have a greater understanding of the Ukrainian language and while going through texts will explain nuances and go beyond what is written to explain how certain words change depending on the situation as well as the oddities that come with any language. Tim is very encouraging and I look forward to more lessons with him. I'd say its important to practise and spend time on your own to develop more understanding after each lesson to help move forward, be it practise speaking or understanding grammar/conversation.

Tim has helped me to progress my Ukrainian a great deal. As a teacher, Tim is encouraging, patient, and personable. He always uses the lesson time to its fullest potential and allows plenty of opportunity for me to practice speaking during the lesson. He often provides useful grammar and vocabulary beyond what is in the textbook and explains some cultural notes too. I look forward to taking more lessons in the future. Дуже дякую!
