Lina(이향화)

I highly recommend Lina. She is a patient tutor and her lessons are well-organised and customised to my needs. She has a way of motivating me and building my confidence. With each lesson, I can see an improvement with every lesson and the homework which she gives is very suitable. She is also very accommodating which is very helpful for me as a disabled student.

WOW, I'm speechless. She is amazing, so much patience and her tranquility, voice and motivation through the lesson helped me a lot to see even more the beauty of Korean! She has a white board with her and in my first Korean lesson I could make very simple sentences. I recommend her!

This was my first lesson with 이향화 성생님 and it was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and understanding, especially as my speech is really not that good at all. She took notes throughout the lesson and sent them to me, which will be really helpful going forward. She was interested in me and my culture, and we shared stories about our travels. She made the lesson feel really casual yet was soooo polite. Further, as an autistic person she made it feel really relaxed and there was no pressure for me to speak Korean when I couldn't, which is one of my biggest problems with having a tutor for languages. 이향화 성생님 was also extremely understanding about my identity, and didn't question or correct me if I said things like 형, which is another issue I've had so many times. 감사합니다 선생님 !!

I recently booked a trial lesson with her where we discussed a picture I sent and worked on improving my pronunciation through reading paragraphs. While our time was limited, she handled the tasks effectively, although I wished for more examples of certain words. I particularly appreciated her interactive teaching style, where she asked questions and patiently waited for my responses. Her adjustment to my beginner level was also very helpful and appreciated.
