Hi, my name's Julia. I'm an English bilingual high school graduate, so for me, English is like my second mother tongue that I love and use on an everyday basis. I've been teaching people of all ages for several years now and am here to help you build a practice of learning English that you find engaging and enjoyable. We can talk about any topics of your interest but also practice for your school exams.
My interests include :
- studying literature, history, art 🖼️, and philosophy
- reading both fiction and non-fiction 📖
- yoga
I'm also currently studying for a bachelor's degree in the French language and literature + general philosophy at a university in the Czech Republic.Ich als Lehrkraft
My goal is to make your language learning engaging and fun. I believe forcing yourself to study grammar rules and only reading (often quite dull) textbooks won't lead to much success. Therefore, we will focus on things you're interested in and like already. I believe that when you're enjoying the process, learning a language becomes easy and natural. For my teaching method, I draw inspiration from a famous polyglot, Steve Kaufmann. I prioritize acquiring a 'natural feeling' for the language by working with authentic content - articles, videos, and podcasts. We won't waste time on ineffective grammar exercises.
Lesson structure:
1. INPUT (app. 30min) - listening and reading = learning vocabulary and grammar naturally
