My name’s Mark, I’m British and a CELTA qualified English language teacher with a Master’s degree.
After completing a double honour degree in International Marketing and Spanish, I moved to Brazil, where I spent several years working in multi-national corporations and then moved to Spain, where I became the company GM. Later in my career I decided to become an English teacher and specialise in Business English.
I later moved to the Middle East, where I spent six and a half years, teaching academic English at a University, Technical English in a School of Engineering and Business English in a government organisation. I am now living in Spain again and teaching on Italki.Ich als Lehrkraft
I have ten years’ experience teaching students of all languages abilities, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. I understand that the learning process is different for every student and for that reason I develop an English language program that is based on your needs, interests and language learning goals. I can teach all types of English, including preparation for IELTS exams. However, I specialise in teaching business English and use my own first hand knowledge of the business world to make my classes more interactive and interesting. I can help widen your knowledge of useful vocabulary, I can deepen your understanding of English grammar in a more practical way, and I can improve your spoken English by creating a relaxed speaking environment in which we can have interesting and enjoyable conversations.
