The stars aligned me perfectly with Sylvia! I have always had a desire to learn Hindi and the only teacher that was meant to fulfill this desire so perfectly was Sylvia! I started my lessons about a month ago and today I read my first short story in Hindi!! Unbelievable!! Her ability to teach, encourage and guide me has been nothing short of incredible! Not all teachers are created equal, and Sylvia by and large stands out. She is a professional to the core and I am so blessed to have found such talent to achieve a life goal that I didn't think I could conquer. Sylvia, you are amazing! Thank you for loving what you do; it shows! Looking forward to more lessons to take my Hindi to a level I didn't think was possible! You are a shining star.

I love my lessons with Sylvia Ji! She is so encouraging and explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand. Because of her help I am learning more advanced concepts and my confidence in speaking Hindi is greatly improved.

I am really enjoying lessons with Sylvia. Her lessons are well structured. She has taught me how to read and write in Devanagari script in a way that is far clearer and more durable than previous attempts. She makes the lessons interesting and is happy to answer all my questions. I like to have structure, and to understand the grammar properly, and Sylvia is the perfect teacher to support me in this.

Sylvia is an incredible Hindi teacher! I've studied with many language teachers over the years, and she is one of the most gifted I've worked with. Since I began, I've experienced rapid progress under her guidance. She is multilingual herself, and has great patience as you practice and learn. She comes to every class prepared with a lesson plan that makes sense, and builds on what you have already learned. She has exceptional understanding of Hindi grammar, and how it relates to English, giving her the ability to explain complex topics in ways that make sense. I highly recommend her services if you're learning Hindi, and have no doubt you will get the results you're looking for!

Learning Hindi with Sylvia has been a real pleasure. She is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and encouraging teacher. As a monolinguist, learning a new language has been quite the challenge but Sylvia created a programme which has helped me to grasp the fundamentals and provide a basis upon which to continue learning beyond the foundational level. I would highly recommend Sylvia as a tutor.

I have taken 8 lessons with Ms. D'Souza so far! She is very encouraging and I have already learned how to read basic Hindi sentences!
