I grew up in Lebanon in an amalgam of cultures, languages, and traditions. Since I was a child, I have been exposed to both Lebanese and French culture, as Lebanon is a place where oriental and occidental cultures meet. In 2019, I moved to Prague for my studies, and I am now based between Beirut and Prague. I studied arts and have a master’s in directing of alternative theater. I am interested in all types of arts and sports (I also am an experienced horseback rider), and I have a deep love for traveling and discovering new cultures. I have been teaching on Italki since November 2020, and I have met a lot of people from around the world, kids and adults; beginners and advanced speakers. I am patient and know how important it is to repeat things for them to be clearly understood and remembered. I also know that each person has their own way of learning, so I adapt to whatever is best for you.

Each lesson is adapted to your personal needs and preferred learning methods.
Conversation practice focuses on vocabulary, pronunciation and listening. We either discuss a chosen topic, focusing on the vocabulary related to it, or have a casual conversation. You will learn ways of speaking and new expressions. If we encounter a new word or one that is not clear, I will write it so that you can read it and grasp it better.
The beginners’ course focuses on basic grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. We will use texts and images to discover new topics, and practice by doing exercises and forming simple sentences. We will combine reading, writing and speaking.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Mara est une enseignante unique, elle crée une atmosphère accueillante, fait les corrections nécessaires avec politesse et naturel. Les cours sont agréables et on ne voit pas le temps passer.

Mara n’est pas seulement une excellente enseignante mais aussi une personne formidable. Elle enseigne avec passion et se soucie de s'assurer que l'élève apprenne. Les cours sont agréables et bénéfiques. C'est une enseignante différente.
