Oi, eu sou a Marina! Tenho 23 anos e sou estudante de Psicologia. Eu adoro idiomas e atualmente estou estudando francês e Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras). Eu sou apaixonada por ajudar as pessoas a acessar e explorar a Língua Portuguesa, conhecer as histórias dos meus alunos com o Brasil e compartilhar minha cultura.

Eu comecei a dar aulas no início da pandemia como uma maneira de me conectar com a comunidade de pessoas apaixonadas por idiomas. Desde então, aprimorei minhas habilidades de ensino e criei diversos materiais didáticos para ajudar pessoas interessadas em aprender português.
I started teaching in the beginning of the pandemic as a way of connecting with the community of language enthusiasts. Chatting is one of my favorite things, and it's a great tool for practicing a language. I'm patient, curious and I assist with kindness (I won't interrupt you all the time!), which are essential skills for my "conversation practice" lessons. Marina is seriously amazing. She is a remarkable teacher and has many thoughtful ways of giving her students methods for review. She is resourceful, patient, and very knowledgeable in the art of teaching as well as having an amazing grasp of English and Portuguese. I highly recommend you take lessons with her and you will see that she stands apart from others in both depth and breadth as well as a talented teacher. You seriously need to take lessons with her!

I was so impressed by how well-prepared Marina was for our first lesson. She asked me a couple questions in advance to help determine the best approach for our lesson, and carefully utilized the lesson time to address my biggest learning needs. Marina is an amazing teacher! She is very prepared with her own learning materials which mean lessons are well structured with a variety of learning methods (flashcards, games, presentations). Marina also always provides additional learning materials for self study which means it's easy to quickly progress and get the most of the 1-1 lesson time! Highly recommend, especially for any beginner looking to quickly build competence and confidence speaking
