Hi everybody! My name is Ilaria, I'm 33 and I live in Genoa, Italy. I'm a teacher and a translator. Besides Italian, which is my mother tongue, I speak English, French and Swedish fluently. Here is something you may want to know about me:
- I absolutely love teaching (and learning!) foreign languages and cultures.
- I've been working with foreign languages for more than 10 years, first as a tutor and since 2017 as a teacher too.
- In 2015 I attended a Swedish intensive course, then I tutored Swedish at University for 2 years, until I got my master's degree.
- I love ice skating, listening to music, traveling, reading and singing: I've been singing since I was 16! :)Ich als Lehrkraft
As a teacher, my first and main goal is to help my students become active users of the language they're studying. That's why, with my students, I try to speak as much as possible in the language they are learning and encourage them to do the same. I know how hard it can be to learn a new language as a grown up, this is why I always try to adapt my lessons to my students and their needs, combining traditional methods and materials with interactive ones. Since every student is different, my goal is to focus on their interests and needs to prepare accurate and appealing lessons for each one of them, so that they can learn by reading or discussing topics they're interested in or that are related to their work / hobbies, etc.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Absolutely great! This was my first lesson in Swedish and I recommend Ilaria wholeheartedly. We went from reading to grammar in a very fluid way. 5 stars for sure.
