I've had a few dozen classes with Vanessa and my Spanish has improved tremendously such that I'm now able to speak at a level I could never have imagined. She's a very safe pair of hands if you want to take your Spanish to the next level and a real pleasure to talk to.

I continue to love my classes with Vanessa. In every class we dive into a relevant social topic (e.g., today we talked about depression, in our last class we talked about fake news) that's connected to my personal and professional interests. Vanessa always comes with a series of thought-provoking questions that keep us talking, and I really enjoy the conversations we have. She does a great job of understanding what I'm trying to express and providing the vocabulary or phrasing that I'm missing, which has helped me to learn a lot of thematic vocabulary in a very short time.

I always look forward to having class with Venessa, she is very patient and when working on reading she gives you plenty of time to workout pronoucing the words and comprehension of what you are reading.

Vanessa is very friendly and easygoing. She has the student lead the conversation and she tailors the topics to the student. She gives corrections and identifies areas where the student needs to work. She gives honest feedback in a kind and encouraging way.
