Martina

My speaking has substantially improved with these lessons with Martina. My husband and I went to Italy, and I was able to comfortably have many conversations with people who spoke little to no English. I still have a long way to go to be fluent, but my level is certainly enough to get around even in small Italian villages.

I've had a lot of fun and learned a ton with Martina, and in only a short time. I highly recommend her if you want to start Italian.

Martina is a gem. She is always ready with ideas for the lesson, but can pivot at a moments notice. She is never impatient and lets me search for the right word or phrase. As I have advanced in my Italian language skills, the lessons have definitely advanced in step with the progression so I always continue to learn.

Martina is an excellent and patient teacher. She lets me search for that word that is on the tip of my tongue without ever showing the least bit of frustration. The material she uses is varied and we touch on many aspects of the Italian language. I can highly recommend lessons with Martina.

Martina is an excellent teacher, and very adaptable. She comes up with lesson plans, but also can pivot and go another direction if I have a particular area that I want to cover. And of course her patience is a real strong point.

This was my first lesson after an extended break, and Martina of course handled that perfectly. She is always patient and speaks at an appropriate level (a little challenging but not too challenging). She is also always thinking of ways to make the lessons personalized and interesting.
