Hej! My name is Megan and I'd love to help you learn Swedish! Languages are a huge passion of mine because they are intertwined with culture and help you to understand the world. I come from South Africa but have lived in Germany and traveled Europe and am currently studying International Business in Stellenbosch, South Africa. I like reading, hiking/trail running and learning about the world. I speak 4 languages fluently and am having a hard time deciding what the 5th language I'm going to learn is going to be🤔Ich als Lehrkraft
My goal as a teacher is to find out what your goals are and to help you achieve them. Being a language learner myself, I also know what kinds of challenges you might be facing and can help you develop strategies to overcome them. I am also quite easy-going and will never judge you for making a mistake. Mistakes are part of learning. Our lessons can be as structured or as unstructured as you prefer. If you are a beginner, I would recommend structured lessons. In this way we can focus on building up your vocabulary topic by topic. I will present a PowerPoint presentation that will include pictures, examples of dialogue and games. It is, however, very important to me that lessons are interactive so I will be asking you questions throughout the lesson. If you are a more advanced learner, I would recommend a more conversational approach. Then, we can have a conversation about whatever you like and take note of errors, new words, etc.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Megan is an absolutely lovely teacher, her lessons are very good at teaching you all the different aspects of how to speak Swedish, she is very approachable and makes each lesson enjoyable and I highly recommend hiring her as a tutor
