Hello, my name's Joe. I'm a professional, CELTA qualified, English teacher with 9 years of teaching experience. Before becoming an English teacher I was a corporate lawyer specialising in business law.

I was a corporate lawyer for 5 years, a business English university lecturer for 3 years and a business English teacher for some of the largest corporations in the world. My focus is on creating enjoyable, interesting, discussion based lessons where I ask the questions and you do most of the talking. I write all of my own lessons and often include videos, self assessments, text analysis, listening exercises and role play to make each lesson unique and engaging.

Each day I wrote more than a hundred professional letters and emails, negotiated with other lawyers, reported to executives, directors, CEO's and business owners and often gave speeches and made persuasive arguments in court.
