My focus is improving your English communication skills and increasing your speaking confidence. In our first class, I will give you a short diagnostic speaking test. Over 90% of my students understand basic English, but they don't have a qualified professional to practice speaking with. You will be speaking and learning English from the first minute of our first lesson; I promise. I typically switch learning activities every 5-10 minutes. This keeps things from getting too boring.
Perhaps most importantly, I focus on two things: what I'm sure that you NEED, and what you tell me that you WANT to study about or prepare for.

Learning with David has been a wonderful experience. He’s not just an incredible English teacher but also a passionate history aficionado who can jazz up lessons with the most outlandish historical facts - I’ve never even come close to feeling bored in his classes. What truly sets him apart is his structured, systematic approach. He tracks your progress, quickly spotting your weaknesses and helping you turn them into strengths. Whether it’s cracking recondite grammar or nailing idioms and phrasal verbs, he brings all those concepts home with ease and fun. Definitely highly recommend!
