Hi!! My name is Jessica. I was born hard-of-hearing. I started learning sign language in middle school because in elementary, they didn’t have a interpret. I grew up talking and not sign until middle school to started learn sign Language. It was amazing I can help to communicate with deaf or hard of hearing.

When I started learning sign language, the same time I went to a sign language community. There they help me learn more. Feeling more passionate to be able to show the strong feelings, beliefs, and conviction. For me, this was absolutely love to teach other people able to learn sign language just for fun, can enjoy the experience or for their career to be successful.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

Teaching my lesson will be fingerspelling, quiz on website, handshape and facial expressions and also other more too. Also deaf culture is so Important for us to know too! But if you need any help or questions that is very specific to something, I will definitely help you and teach you.

I will happily be booking more lessons! The lesson I had with her was fun and interesting learning newer signs versus my knowing of the older ones. Jessica is great because she has many different ways to help teach you and I think her patience is number 1 on that list. She's very encouraging, friendly, and has many resources and ideas, to further help you to learn and reach your goals!
