Hi!👋 My name is Billy 😃 I am an American native English speaker with a neutral accent. English should be fun 🎉 and I think learning in a more “natural” way through repeated exposure and conversation works best! If you are nervous speaking, don’t worry!! I felt exactly the same way and I am here to help you overcome that. I am happy to answer all your questions about American life and culture. As a private tutor I helped high school and adult English learners in Mexico. I worked as a translator, and I have been an interpreter for clients in Florida (English to Spanish). Over time I have gotten better at how to learn a new language myself, and I can pass on some of these tips to you.

Feel free to ask me questions about anything during your lessons! We will go at YOUR rhythm- I am here to guide you and help you reach your goals! For you to become a fluent speaker, our priority should be on you speaking a lot. I will carefully listen and give you grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary tips. You can let me know how often you prefer to be corrected as well. We can improve your pronunciation: learning syllable stress, vowel lengthening and reduction, the “schwa” vowel, and other details that really help you sound clearer when speaking! ✨ I can also help you with ✨ -IELTS and TOEFL essay correction -IELTS and TOEFL speaking -Using American phrases -Your work (job) writing

The lesson with billy was really great. He is nice, patient,active and friendly. I guess his student will never feel nervous or uncomfortable cuz he just talk like your friend, naturally. And he knows a lot and have various topics, avoids to make the conversation boring. Personally I highly recommend to Chinese students who want to improve speaking with some free talks, especially when u just want to talk naturally. Joyful time with Billy.
